This book was given to me as a present and we have already cooked a few recipes。 Easy to follow, a lot of variety and no difficult-to-find ingredients。 Definitely recommend to people who enjoy cooking with children

I bought this book to find some good recipes for my kids to get involved in the kitchen。 My seven year old daughter loves helping with the cooking and we have made several of these recipes together- easy to follow, lovely photos, and everything is low sugar and healthy。 My eight year old son is a very picky eater and lately has been driving me nuts by refusing to eat anything apart from apples and peanut butter on toast。 I handed him this book and told him to choose some dinners that he wants to I bought this book to find some good recipes for my kids to get involved in the kitchen。 My seven year old daughter loves helping with the cooking and we have made several of these recipes together- easy to follow, lovely photos, and everything is low sugar and healthy。 My eight year old son is a very picky eater and lately has been driving me nuts by refusing to eat anything apart from apples and peanut butter on toast。 I handed him this book and told him to choose some dinners that he wants to try and we will cook them together。 He went for chicken nuggets (predictable), spaghetti and meatballs, and corn fritters。 So far we have made the nuggets and meatballs, and they have been a great success (by great success I mean he has eaten most of his food without sobbing/ dry heaving, followed by threats of loss of toys, TV time, or (worst of all) Youtube access, followed by him storming off to his bedroom announcing that he hates everything #highdrama #itsjustlasagne)。The nuggets were really yummy, he did all the prep himself and served them up to the family with a salad for dinner- he was really proud of himself! All in all a great book, lots of great recipes in there for all ages。 。。。more

Strangely, I found this one more compelling than the one for adults。 Yes, there are a lot of shortcuts but if you get the kids cooking, that is enough to get them interested for life。 It is a skill that all kids should pick up。I have a number of kids' cookbooks and this one is more like a simpler adult cookbook。 It may appeal to those kids that are serious about their food。 There are some good ideas here and once again, the Asian influence is obvious and it is a curiosity for a North American au Strangely, I found this one more compelling than the one for adults。 Yes, there are a lot of shortcuts but if you get the kids cooking, that is enough to get them interested for life。 It is a skill that all kids should pick up。I have a number of kids' cookbooks and this one is more like a simpler adult cookbook。 It may appeal to those kids that are serious about their food。 There are some good ideas here and once again, the Asian influence is obvious and it is a curiosity for a North American audience。 。。。more
